Join us for a talk by Catherine Haley Epstein at the Working Library where she will provide a brief history of scent in art and introduce contemporary artists using scent, weave in notes from anthropologists' olfactory findings, and address the challenges of using scent in the typical art setting. There will be odorous exercises and time for discussion. Most importantly, she will share practical ideas and resources to help you on your way to getting scent into your studio's tool kit.
We look forward to seeing you there!!
